The Carlton Hotel Singapore was abuzz with dazzling red-carpet glamour on the evening of 19 July 2025, as SJI International Alumni gathered for their biggest annual event: Summer Reunion Royale 2025. The warmth and connections of the alumni community were palpable as alumni from various graduating classes attended, including the most senior alumni from the Class of 2009!

With a "red-carpet" theme, close to 80 alumni, teachers, and staff bonded over a sumptuous buffet. Among the teachers and staff in attendance were Ms Glenis Chng, Ms Susi Teo, Mr Gregory Thorpe, Ms Ineke Thorpe, Ms Kellie O'Kane, Brother Larry, and many more, much to the delight of their former students.

SJI International's CEO, Dr Michael Johnston, who joined about a year ago, delivered the event's opening address. Nostalgia and laughter filled the air as alumni shared stories and viewed past school event photos. An interactive Bingo game, with details unique to SJI International students, further sparked excitement and deeper conversations.

Talented alumni performed, amplifying the evening's excitement. The Alumni Band - Sean Lee, Lukus Toh, Sean Lim, and Jillian Ee from the Classes of 2019 and 2020 - and professional music artist Ms Sarah Chong from the Class of 2010 belted out popular songs that made the night even more magical.

The strong support of alumni at the Summer Reunion Royale 2025 and the joy of connecting with familiar and new faces showcase the unchanging spirit of love and selfless giving that underpins our SJI International family.
