It has been an exciting few months for SJI International. In the lead up to the Graduation ceremony held in each November for our Grade 12 students, the Advancement and Communications Office (ACO) and the Alumni Association have undertaken a series of onboarding initiatives. This year, we are proud to launch our first ever Class of 2022 Graduation Banners initiative, each banner features the personalised photo and preferred name of each individual student. Over 200 banners adorn the walkways down to the Lawrence Da Silva Sports Complex, where the Graduation Ceremony will take place, a fitting tribute to the culmination of high school and celebration of the rite of passage from student to alumni.
Class of 2022 Alumni Association Introduction & Welcome!
The Class of 2022 was introduced to the Alumni Association on 16 Aug. Ms Jaime Brown from the ACO spoke during assembly about the Alumni programme and the benefits of staying connected with the school community even after graduation. Grade 12s were encouraged to sign up for the Alumni Connect portal and social media pages to keep up to date with alumni news, events, networking opportunities, directories, and more. The seniors also enjoyed graduation cookies prepared by the ACO.
Following a two-year pandemic hiatus, the first in-person SJII Alumni Reunion saw 200 alumni, teachers and staff back on campus this summer. We are elated to see many alumni across batches, and especially grateful to see many overseas alumni making their way back to reconnect. Thank you for your support and we look forward to bringing you more alumni events.

A few months ago we launched the SJII Alumni Industry Talk Series, a series that looks into the career and further education choices of SJII alumni where invited alums share the ups and downs of their career journey. Carrying on with its second episode, our alum shared their first hand experiences as business owners as well as top tips and insights for aspiring entrepreneurs.
